  1. Truly an amazing display of heart and bravery from a beautiful and honest horse…made all the more breathtaking and enjoyable by the fact that I wagered €100 to win on him at 9/1 =D

  2. one of my favourite moments in sport. Synchronised’s Gold Cup too. Love them.

  3. really amazing ride, it’s a beautiful victory!

  4. Spectacular effort by Coneygree.  Reminded me of Bregawn in the 1983 Gold Cup.

  5. The last horse that i remember setting such a strong gallop on soft ground in the Gold Cup was Tied Cottage who did so for five renewals all of which were on soft/heavy ground, and every one of them he had the field on the stretch from flagfall.  Should have one three Gold Cups. The One People forget is in 1981 when he was 25 lengths clear when unseating the rider at the 5th fence.

  6. One of the bravest, most staggering rides i have ever seen! Breath taking stuff! Well done Coneygree!

  7. Cheltenham Gold Cup>>>>>>>>Grand National

  8. Just shows that last year’s Gold Cup really was the worst ever, none of the first five last year were anywhere near the first 4 this year. Great race by Coneygree, let’s hope he can progress more and take over the mantle left  by the likes of Kauto Star and Denman and become one of the greats.

  9. Great 2015 festival with a lot of impressive winners but this race was my favourite of the whole week, amazing effort from Coneygree went at it like he does and asked them to catch him and they just couldn’t, deserved victory!

  10. Nico de Boinville deserved to win. Richard Hoiles pointed out that Boston Bob was chivvied along by Ruby Walsh.
